The Incident Command System (ICS) I-100 introduces and provides the foundation for higher-level ICS training.

This course describes the history, features, principles, and organizational structure of the ICS.

This is an AEMA accredited course.

AMHSA’s ICS 100 course has been reviewed and granted equivalency to the standards set by the Alberta Emergency Management Agency (AEMA).

This course may be eligible for 0.4 CEUs for the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) – Continuing Professional Development Program (CPD Program) for the purpose of recertification in maintaining the BCRSP certification. WWOC Program

Approximately four hours

Testing conducted throughout this online course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved. Printable resources are available in the form of a comprehensive student manual. The manual is a valuable resource for future use and knowledge retention.

Upon successful completion of this course, an online certificate of completion will be available for download and printing. This course is recommended to be retaken every 3 years from the course completion date indicated on the certificate.
