This course will provide you information about the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), using the TSCA Inventory to identify chemicals in the workplace, requirements for retaining files and reports related to allegations of environmental or health risks associated with toxic substances. It will also provide information regarding best practices for using PPE when working with and around chemicals.

After completing this course, you should be able to:

• Explain the purpose and goals of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and the responsibilities for you and your employer according to TSCA
• Understand the purpose of the TSCA Inventory and where it can be obtained.
• Explain the purpose and importance of the Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) rule and compliance monitoring.

Testing conducted throughout this online course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved.
