Course Overview
Our walkie stacker safety training course is OSHA compliant, and our online version fulfills OSHA’s classroom training requirement.
Training Scope: Each class contains the following information:
- Anatomy & Inspection
- Safe Operations
- Know Your Machine
- Know Your Worksite
- Common Hazards
This presentation includes intermittent practice quiz questions to prepare for the final written exam included with the course. In addition to the written exam, this course also includes a checklist for employers to use when administering a practical exam as required by OSHA.
Estimated Training Length: Because everyone learns and progresses at different speeds, the amount of time you spend taking this training will vary. However, the estimated time for this training is 1-1.5 hours.
Course Goals:
- Understand the importance of a pre-shift inspection and how to perform one
- Understand the components and functions associated with walkie stackers
- Recognize the common hazards associated with a walkie stacker and how to avoid or mitigate them
CEUs:
- In order to earn CEUs, this course must be completed, and the final exam passed with a score of no less than 80%.
- This course counts as 0.2 CEUs.
Standards:
Though you will still need to familiarize yourself with all other applicable federal, state, and local standards, this training encompasses the following OSHA standards for Motor Graders:
- CAN/CSA-B335-04 – Safety Standard for Lift Trucks
- CAN/CSA-B335-94 – Lift Truck Operator Training
- ANSI/ITSDF B56.1 – Safety Standard for Low Lift & High Lift Trucks
