Introduction

CMV drivers are restricted on drug use and possession.

Drivers cannot use drugs that would prevent safe driving.

Marijuana is prohibited even if legal by state law.

You may transport drugs as part of your cargo.

You are allowed to possess legally prescribed medication.

But prescriptions could interfere with your medical exam.

You’ll face serious consequences if you violate the prohibitions.

Testing conducted throughout this online course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved.
