This course will be presented in four chapters:

• Chapter 2: Bench Grinders
• Chapter 3: Risks and Best Practices
• Chapter 4: Let’s Review

Course topics include:

• The components of angle and bench grinders
• The basic functioning of a grinder and the differences in usage between the angle and bench types
• The correct usage and proper inspection and maintenance procedures for both angle and bench grinders
• Common hazards present during grinder use
• How to recognize and minimize the variables that can lead to grinder-related accidents
• How to utilize PPE and best practices to avoid health issues and injury
