This course is designed to help you understand more about GHS label requirements and Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Hazard Communication Standard. It will also help you stay safe when working with chemicals by knowing how to understand GHS labels.

After completing this course, learners will be able to:

• Describe how the Hazard Communication Standard keeps you safe from the dangers of hazardous chemicals
• Explain what information can be found on each chemical’s container label
• Describe how hazcom labels can help you work safely with chemicals

Approximately 20 minutes

Testing conducted throughout this online course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. The course is able to be taken three times in efforts to achieve the pass mark.

Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available to download and print.
