Enforcing rules and managing conflict in industry can be challenging. This Productive Communication Conflict Management Training will provide you with strategies to respectfully resolve conflict and generate cooperation, using discipline as a last resort.
Using video animation with a touch of humor we show examples of workplace settings of people who are not on their best behaviour. The characters, Janine and Kalm Kristin, will guide you through their encounters with a step-by-step approach to manage conflict using a variety of communication and emotion management strategies. The use of practical applications to demonstrate the communication approach, provides you with the confidence to deescalate situations and generate voluntary compliance in difficult situations.
You will learn what makes conflict destructive, and how traveling down the ‘Low-Road’ can have long lasting harmful effects on your work or homelife relationships. Knowing the ‘High-Road’ method, can help to manage your emotions and control your fears prior to and during a conflict situation. These strategies are based on psychological, sociological, and communication research.
