Reg and Stu are back as training leaders to guide you through TDG training and get you on the road to certification.

Thousands of shipments of dangerous goods are transported every day in Canada. Transport Canada requires training for all persons involved in the shipping, receiving and transporting of dangerous goods.

At the end of the course, learners will be able to:

•    Identify the hazards of each class of dangerous goods.

•    Identify the dangers that are represented by labels and placards.

•    Understand how to complete shipping documentation.

•    Determine how to handle dangerous goods carefully to prevent leaks and spills.

•    Recognize what to do in the case of an emergency.

Approximately 75 minutes

An online final exam with 15 multiple choice questions is presented at the end of the course. A mark of 12/15 (80%) must be achieved in order to pass the exam. There is one chance to answer the question correctly. Questions are randomly presented for each exam attempt from a pool of questions. Participants are able to repeat the exam three times if the passing mark is not achieved on the first and second attempt. Participants are asked to review the material after the second failed attempt before attempting the exam for the third time.

Certificate of completion is issued upon successful completion of the course, valid for 3 years.
