Working on a construction site requires workers to handle, move, use, and dispose of the building materials utilized. Improper, inadequate, or unsafe handling of materials causes injuries and even death in many cases. Handling materials safely should be a primary goal of every worker on the site.

After completing this course, it should be possible to:

Testing conducted in this course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved on the first attempt.
