Course Overview
There are many hazards to consider whenever a person is behind the wheel. Behind the wheel of
a vehicle transporting livestock has a set of additional hazards to consider.
This course is intended to educate and raise awareness regarding the unique challenges and hazards
faced when hauling livestock. The course will provide an overview of leading causes of accidents, how
to prevent accidents, how to prepare or react to an accident, and how to deal with animals if they are loose following an accident.
This course is ideal for any worker that will be transporting animals to or from your farm on public
roadways.
