The purpose of Workplace Inspections is to provide a framework to ensure that inspections are conducted in a manner that: is thorough, involves key employees, integrates an assessment process, allows engagement with all employees, and enables continuous improvement for the
health and safety culture and the formal workplace inspection program. Preventing injuries from hazards are the results that formal workplace inspections strive to achieve.

This course may be eligible for 0.2 CEUs for Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) – Continuing Professional Development Program (CPD Program) for the purpose of recertification in maintaining the BCRSP certification. Testing conducted in this online Formal Workplace Inspections course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved on the final exam in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved on the first attempt. Supplemental materials for this course can be accessed online.
